Wired online author Joshua Batson describes the virtual reality experience of Birdly, a Swiss-developed interactive immersive virtual reality exhibit currently on display in San Francisco. “Yesterday, I flew over downtown San Francisco. I swooped past the Transamerica Pyramid… I slipped under the Bay Bridge…” Batson relates both the joys and longings his Birdly flight left him feeling in his Wired article. “I wanted to fly over the rest of California, and to see it all with perfect resolution.”
Birdly is currently using a 3D model developed by PLW Modelworks. We’re proud and excited to be part of this ground-breaking project.
