New Products from PLW Modelworks!
PLW is proud to announce that we are introducing two new products targeted to our simulation customers! We can provide our industry leading 3D urban models with material classification information and night scenes!
Material classification adds additional functionality to PLW 3D models when utilized with a simulator that utilizes this information for different sensors such as IR and Night Vision! See below for an example showing a small PLW 3D scene which shows part of the scene utilizing PLW’s standard texture map and part of the scene with material classification denoted by different colors for the texture map where each color denotes a different material. (See image above.)
Now your simulator can show PLW models on a 24 hour basis by the integration of a night scene texture for PLW’s models! The night scene can include navigation lights and street lamp pools of light as well as lighted windows.
