A Sobering Anniversary: Remembering the 2011 Joplin Tornado

This month marks the three year anniversary of the tornado outbreak that ripped through the town of Joplin, Missouri, leaving an unforgettable path of destruction and a sobering reminder of the fickleness of Mother Nature. To assist with disaster recovery and provide information to relief organizations, PLW Modelworks and partners created before-and-after 3D models showing the tornado’s path of destruction. We’ve produced a video using the rendered model focusing on some of the hardest hit areas. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and residents who were affected by this devastating storm.
